Everything You Need to Know About the Madness of Nikola Tesla (i09)
- "There is a crater on the moon named after him.
- "Visitors frequently request his room at The New Yorker Hotel, room 3327. Supposedly they hope for a "spark" of inspiration.
- "He thought that memories and thoughts were recorded on the brain and could be watched, like a movie, through the retina."

Mondays, oh how I detest thee.
I really didn't want to go to work this morning.
I probably shouldn't have.
I came in to find K. cleaning up what appeared to be my books, papers and equipment.
Sunday evening, around 9pm, a pipe burst on the 3rd floor of my building. My desk, on the first floor, was directly under the torrent of water that flowed down.
My Computer, monitors, Griffin Amplifi, shoes, and various other shit was drenched.
Not a good Monday morning.
Took awhile to get started after that. I should have just turned around and left. The computer thankfully works. Don't know how much else has survived because I couldn't bear to try and turn them on. We'll see tomorrow.
Tomorrow.Labels: Work

Year in Cities (2006)
Boston, MA *
New York City, NY *
Norfolk, VA
Tampa, FL
Chicago, IL
Bay Shore, NY *
Meredith, NH *
One or more nights spent in each place. Those cities marked with an * were visited multiple times on non-consecutive days.
I really need to travel more this year.
Idea completely ripped off from Kottke. Hell I outright copied the "one or more ... non-consecutive days." sentences.Labels: travel
